Nepal Himalaya Trek & Leadership
Overview
Trek through the foothills of the Himalaya and grow as a leader along the way. This three-week programme blends a guided mountain trek with a structured leadership curriculum — daily challenges, reflection and real responsibility — set against some of the most spectacular scenery on Earth.
You will come home fitter, more confident, and with leadership skills you can use anywhere.
Programme structure
Three connected phases: a leadership foundation and trek preparation, a multi-day Himalayan trek where you take turns leading the group, and a final phase of reflection, feedback and planning how you will carry your new skills forward.
Learning outcomes
You strengthen the core leadership skills employers and universities value — communication, decision-making, resilience and teamwork — tested and proven in a real, demanding environment.
Certification
On completion you receive the Impact-Trails Leadership Award, recognising the leadership hours and challenges you have completed.
Itinerary / typical week
Trekking days are balanced with leadership labs, team challenges and evening reflections. You navigate, plan, problem-solve and lead — supported throughout by experienced guides and facilitators.
The location
Based in Nepal's middle hills and high valleys, you trek through terraced farmland, rhododendron forest and stone villages with the white peaks of the Himalaya always on the horizon. Nights are spent in teahouses and camps, days on the trail with your team.
